Resolves YES if the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) announces a federal government shutdown due to a lapse in appropriations that begins after February 14, 2026, and on or before April 1, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise NO. A qualifying shutdown must result in one or more federal agencies entering shutdown status, including furloughs. Source: Official OPM announcement. (Corresponding times: 23:59 ET = 03:59 UTC = 15 April 08:59 Chelyabinsk time — but the deadline is April 1, so please adjust accordingly.)»

@NadezdaShchipitsyna I think this should have resolved YES about a month ago, no?

@bens
2 maybe 3 problems:

1. Did current shutdown start on Feb 14th rather than after Feb 14th as required by this question?
"shutdown due to a lapse in appropriations that begins after February 14, 2026, and on or before April 1, 2026"

2. Even if 1 above is not a problem, is there an OPM announcement about it?

It perhaps also isn't clear if question requires whole or most of government to shutdown rather than a single department.
