The letter: resolves YES if, before 2027/1/1, at least one gym (or similar facility where people lift weights) offers automated plate racking and unracking with the following features:

  • The user can specify any plate in the gym to be loaded onto any bar in any location (floor, squat rack, bench, etc)

  • No human intervention needed in any step of the process – the user simply indicates lift and weight, does their sets, and asks the system to unload when finished

  • The service must have been running for ≥3 months
