Will I find a wife by the end of 2027?

I have set a strategic goal to start a family before Singularity happens, with a provisional deadline by the end of 2027.

The question resolves YES if, by the end of 2027, I am married, or I have proposed and the woman I proposed to said yes.

Relevant context: I was in 4 long-term relationships in my life (2-4 years each, and one 6 months). Mostly, it took me 1-2 months to find a new relationship after the previous one broke. The largest gap was 9 months. But! Now I am looking explicitly for a wife, not just a relationship. I have never yet found a wife.

I have been single since early August 2026, and no one seems to be willing to start a relationship with me right now.

I'm not your standard monogamous straight guy, but I'm anti redpill, pretty allergic to rats, and I have more female friends than male ones. I may have insights the dudes around you don't, so let me burst your bubble a bit.

In general, I think your timeline is reasonable.

In specific:

  • you're a bit young for quickly going dating -> marriage (esp true for Northern European culture?)

  • appearance is a bit fuckboy. doesn't seem to have prevented your previous LTRs though. has it changed from then to now?

  • dateme doc pics: 1st is sweet but reads gay (not actually a problem, I think you should leave it but lead with something stronger), 2nd is intimidating/ harsh, 3rd is quite good but not on its own and way too low res (find a high res version!!!)

  • dateme doc text has huge redflags everywhere. not a problem unless non-rat women read it:

  • body fat, bmi, bench: all sound gymbro trying to attract male gaze ("193cm, fairly muscular" is enough)

  • iq and intelligence metrics are incredibly cringe and read arrogant. but saying you hold multiple degrees is great!

  • linking off to elsewhere right off the bat is a choice. either put that info in the doc or share the link at the end as further reading

  • as a general rule, if you care about a woman's body count you can never mention or ask about her body count (even once you're dating her). caring about it = judging it, and that's often a huge ick for people. rip that part out asap. it doesn't matter if it's a blocker for you. that's a You Problem, not a Her Problem

  • half the stuff in the additional preferences section don't read as cute and nerdy like you mean them to. to non-rats they read as unhinged techbro (again appealing to male gaze). compare it to someone saying: "I love crypto. blockchain is the future. holder of 154 ETH, 26 BTC, actively pumping DOGE. it's very attractive if you care about web 3.0, decentralized governance, and have an ape collection." (if you can't see why this example is cringe... we might have more work to do)

  • the former avid reader factoid is tragic. rewrite to not sound like you've become an uncompromising workaholic who will ignore a partner

  • are your books AI-written? if so I would avoid mentioning them, you might get challenged by dates on it and they'll write you off as out-of-touch when they find out

  • last factoid about brain and body optimization is okay, but isn't a fun fact. use this section for silly specific examples, not generalized "I love to travel" statements. also, if placed elsewhere in doc, needs rephrased to not sound like you're slurping up Brian Johnson's Johnson juice (don't BJ BJ)

to sum: you're sending male-coded and fringe belief signals. only a hyper specific subset of women would find this actively attractive. a fairly larger group would find it forgiveable, but you usually need your foot in the door before you tell them. you can still be honest and softly signal all of this stuff without sounding like you're drinking the kool-aid.

and for what it's worth, there's plenty in there that sounds super good! you're not a lost cause, I'm just focusing on some of the weak points.

btw, have you spent any significant time single-and-voluntarily-celibate, or is it all relationship hopping? and have you run this by any women??

There are ways to game this

One year is a pretty short timeline to get engaged no? Don't most highly educated people like yourself date for 2-3 years before pulling the trigger? You may meet your future wife in the next year, but I wouldn't propose. You're 28, not 38.

bought Ṁ35 NO

"Have a bodycount of less than 15. But exceptions can be made."

lol of course

If you think the singularity is coming that soon...what is the point of having kids now, exactly? You want infants to undergo the process of the singularity?

@ChurlishGambit 1. If my model of the future is wrong, it would be very awkward to avoid having children because of the fears of something that doesn't occur. This is the same as many other potentially useful things by the way: technical AI safety is probably not going to work out, but it would be very stupid to stop working on it in the case if reality is such that it actually can work out. What if some technical solutions, eventually, appear more feasible than it seems? What if timelines appear longer than it seems? Then it would be awkward and undignified if I stopped working and the world came to an end not because reality was harsh but because people expected reality to be harsh and henceforth stopped working. 2. Purely intuitively, on the level of my immediate preferences, I want children, and I think it is ok. I have a strong fatherly instinct, which reveals itself in many forms. I think I will enjoy having children even on a purely hedonistic level and will be a very loving father. Additionally to that, I have a lot of takes on how to bring up genius children, and the desire to make smart children is yet another manifestation of my transhumanist ideology. I think, paired with a proper wife, I have a non-negligible chance of bringing Kwisatz Haderach of Rationality to the world. 3. I think it is still net positive to have more people in the world, unless timelines are extremely short. 4. I just want it. Even if I die, I just want to feel the joy of being a parent. 5. I think children often make people more productive because they make them quit the period of delayed adolescence, which now usually lasts well into 30s.

@IhorKendiukhov It sounds like you actually are not that confident in the Singularity, do you know what I mean? It's like someone who is very confident the Rapture is about to happen...but they don't want to give up their house or any possessions. If the Rapture is going to happen tomorrow, you don't need them, so why keep them? You're doing the same thing, but instead of calling it "the Rapture," you call yours "the Singularity."

>I think, paired with a proper wife, I have a non-negligible chance of bringing Kwisatz Haderach of Rationality to the world.

That is not rational thinking...& also, in the books, that doesn't work out so well!

@ChurlishGambit I am not 99% confident in the Singularity, yes.

@IhorKendiukhov But you orient your life around the timeline of it? Of a thing your actions show, you don't believe will happen.
