The point of this bet is: I will not resolve it. I will not resolve this bet! I have scheduled the resolution of this bet for 11/19/2024, midnight, E.S.T. But since I will not resolve it ever, I honestly don't know how, when or IF, that will happen, so it will be up to Manifold and the bettors to decide.
This is to test the Manifold platform. From time to time, OPs go AWOL: phones break, people die, get bored, commit a crime, flee to third world countries etc.
Perhaps I'm just a bad OP. Either way, please put in the comment section down below what you think of the problem, what will happen, and what you intend to do about it. Will you try to get Manifold involved, or just accept what happens?

@121 tbh I don’t know how to resolve this market because “other” and “not before feb 10th” could reasonably apply
But also I am assuming when we make it to November again it won’t make sense to resolve to week 1 … probably N/A ?
@Eliza it is always before 10 feb unless it is 10 feb! (I don’t disagree with the resolution on this basis tho lol)
I don't know what their policy might say about this, but as long as they take any action to resolve the question, I'd think they'd have to resolve it a 'Yes' for the date they resolve it, as the question simply asks when they will resolve it, not how.
But if you think [(me speculating)] they have to resolve N/A, because their policy doesn't allow them to resolve questions to answers contingent on their actions or opinions, then my apologies to Manifold, a choice of N/A, won't make users feel confident in their platform, so I'd consider that a mistake and a lost opportunity for them in my opinion.
