I use markets like this as commitment devices. It generally works very well, but a similar market with stricter rules was resolved NO recently.

Three rules apply:

• if I don't spend the day at home, that day doesn't count

• Skip rule: If I clean for 45 minutes, I can skip the next day.

• Joker rule: If I use a joker, I can skip that day. To get a Joker, I have to clean 45 minutes on two days or 90 minutes on a single day, without collecting skips. I start with zero Jokers.

I will not bet on this market.
