Resolves to YES if the next major Gemini version comes out before the next major Deepseek version. These are expected to be called Gemini 3 and Deepseek v4 respectively.

Major version = new base model, usually accompanied by architectural changes and an increase in the integer part of the model version (e.g. 2.5->3 or 3.1->4).

If R2 comes out before V4 I’ll count that as the next major Deepseek version.

If either company changes the naming scheme I’ll make a call based on the paper, model card, blog post, and other available info.
