Background

On 30 September 2022, Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky signed Decree No. 679/2022. The decree enacted a decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the main provision of which was to render negotiations with Russian president Vladimir Putin impossible.

Resolution procedure

This market will resolve YES if, by the end of 2025, any branch of the Ukrainian government – executive, legislative or judicial – takes any formal action that has the legal effect of rescinding, invalidating or overriding the provision of Presidential Decree No. 679/2022 that forbids negotiations with Vladimir Putin.

This market will otherwise resolve NO.

Close date

This market is due to close at 22:00:00 UTC on 31 December 2025, although it may resolve YES sooner.

Further information

I permit Manifold's moderators to resolve this market in a manner consistent with the resolution procedure if my account is deleted or if the market has been closed for at least two weeks without resolution.
