@blackle and I watched Bet On Love when it first aired, and I remarked that it was the kind of fantastical morality tale that would fit in as a Christmas movie.
We decided to watch it again around Christmastime, which it now is, so here's a prop market about that.
For markets referring to both of us, resolution will be 50% if we disagree, and otherwise resolve to the consensus.
@TheAllMemeingEye The dating show component isn't really, but the musical steadily reveals itself to be a morality tale about a selfish man being taught by the ~supernatural to appreciate the interiority of those around him.
It's like they modernized a Christmas Carol and set it during Valentine's Day. The setting isn't Christmas but it retains enough of the tone that we thought it stuck.
To be fair, the planned rewatch next year is not to say we think it's a definitive Christmas classic or anything, it's more that we continue to be curious how it will hold up.
