People are talking about them now as if they are, but I'm not sure the trend will continue. I will wait until Dec 31st to resolve. If people are using MCP servers to do cool things or they're on the path to mass adoption, then this resolves YES. If they remain a niche technology (like XMPP or RSS or something), this resolves NO.
