However, if other proof from other samples with similar leopard spots features were to be considered enough evidence of life on Mars by the scientific community, I would resolve the question as yes, even if those precise ones had not been brought back to Earth for confirmation.
@PierreLamotte The thing is, the signs have been discovered, even though not analyzed yet dispositively. So it may take time to resolve one way or the other, but the discovery itself has been made.
