This market will resolve to when Valve releases more information about the upcoming newer version of the Steam Deck, or the Steam Deck 2.

Resolves to the time period when the news comes out. If no news in 2026, then all buckets will resolve NO. Timing is based on Pacific Standard Time of the USA (the timezone in which Valve is headquartered).

Things which will satisfy this market:
- An updated Steam Deck store page on Steam (US) with a new purchaseable/pre-orderable version.

- A video, article, or post being released via official Valve channels (youtube channel, X account, etc.) detailing upcoming new additions/changes or hardware in the "Steam Deck" line of products (as alluded to in the Steam Hardware Announcement video)

- An official named Steam spokesperson giving clear, unambiguous info regarding the new hardware to a reputable source (i.e. Pcgamer, ign, polygon, bloomberg tech/news, etc.)
*the terms unambiguous will be decided by yours truly

This is a non-exhaustive list, other announcements of this type may count for YES resolution purposes if I deem that match the spirit of this market, but note that I prioritize "official" and "non-rumor" information above all else.
