Surprising news! Seems like a fair enough resolution, even if I am losing mana

Mostly, I am grateful that Princess Catherine is still with us. I agree with the comments that two answers qualified- surgery and other as her subsequent cancer diagnosis qualified as why she was out of the public for so long. Although, I have resolved this today- it wouldn’t surprise me in the future if she gets a divorce and Camilla is up to no good with candlesticks. The whole thing including this video has been strange.

I'm still a proponent of the "mind your own biz" option even moreso now that the mobs were so insufferable that she had to make a public statement about her private matters. ❤️‍🩹

Looks like it resolves OTHER, as the reason for why she has not been in the public eye is not simply that she is recovering from surgery, but that she has cancer and has been working through this with her family. I wish her a fast recovery.

@MichelleDavidson Alright, there's a real money market on this at Polymarket but it has a deadline of them admitting it by April 1st which is quite soon, so I made one with the same criteria but a July deadline.

@MichelleDavidson how will you decide which is true? all of the official publications say it was surgery and she's been spotted smiling and shopping with William today.

@shankypanky What a great question and open to feedback. There is so much weird and digitally altered imagery. I’ve spent the last day down the X rabbit hole with everyone commenting and showing whether Kate and Wills were actually shopping.

My current thinking is at some point- hopefully Easter we will all have definitive proof of life. Currently, I don’t think any of the images or video are actually her.

@MichelleDavidson right but the market isn't resolving to proof of life so I'm not sure that's more than slightly relevant here? the options are about why she's been absent and how will you have definitive proof of a medical procedure, for example?

@shankypanky Great point- the questions asks why her absence however proof of life is needed to resolve all of the answers including other (death.)

@MichelleDavidson sure but that's not enough to resolve (just enough to resolve No on death) so I'm just curious how you'll validate the other options and make a choice that's all

@SusanneinFrance Agreed X was in hyperdrive yesterday. So many theories. What is apparent is that it is a highly unusual situation to have someone in such a public position so dramatically absent. To date, I’m not convinced we have seen any proof of her current state.
