I don't believe Balatro will have Steam Workshop support unless it builds a proper mod API; the current method works fine but code injection seems like something Valve would deem too dangerous.

I really think there's a good chance this happens with the next update, but there are enough grassroots efforts around mod stores that they might not see it as necessary.
