This market will resolve to “Yes” if a federal judge orders Google, or its parent company Alphabet, to sell off its Chrome browser between November 19th 00:00 AM ET and December 31st 2025 23:59 ET. To qualify as a “sell off”, Google must be ordered to retain no ownership of its Chrome browser. Partial divestitures, spinning the browser into a subsidiary or a restructuring will not count. Subsequent appeals will not affect the resolution of this market. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the US government, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
