The “Redskins rule” states that if the Redskins (now called Commanders) won their last home game before a presidential election, the incumbent party wins the White House. If they lose, the opposing party wins the White House. Every Presidential election followed this rule from 1940 until 2000. This resolves YES if Democrats hold onto the White House and if the Commanders win their last home game before the election (Oct 27 vs Bears), OR if Republicans win and the Bears win.
