To qualify for YES resolution, an anime must meet all the following criteria on AniList.
The genres include sci-fi.
The release year is 2025.
The format is TV show.
At least 10k users have watched some of it.
It has a higher average score than any other anime that meet the previous criteria.
See anime that meet the first three criteria.
If two or more anime tie for the highest average score, then I will resolve with percents split between them.
I plan to resolve in January 2026.
Update 2025-12-29 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): ONA format anime do not qualify for YES resolution - only TV show format qualifies.
Note: The creator will not change the format criteria for this market, even though they may include ONAs (with at least 4 episodes of 10+ minutes) in future similar markets.
Update 2025-12-29 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): In case of a tie in average score, the creator will resolve based on the average rating they can see on AniList. If two anime appear to have the same average rating as displayed on AniList, the market will be resolved with percents split between them (as stated in the original criteria), regardless of how AniList internally sorts items with the same displayed rating.

@prismatic I strongly recommend you read the resolution criteria more carefully. Takopi's Original Sin does not qualify for YES resolution because the format is ONA, not TV show.
If I create a similar question in the future, then I'll include ONAs that contain at least 4 episodes that are at least 10 minutes long, but I don't want to change the conditions of this question after others have already placed bets.

- Sort by average score (not popularity)
- The two eligible options are Dandadan 2nd Season and Dr. STONE: SCIENCE FUTURE Part 2 (both 8.4)
- However, Dr. STONE: SCIENCE FUTURE Part 2 has the higher average score because on the all-time list it's listed higher (and also listed first in the sort by average score view)
@prismatic I'm going by the average rating I can see. Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE Cour 2 and DAN DA DAN Season 2 appear to have the same average rating. I don't know how AniList sorts items that they otherwise report as having the same average rating.
@HankyUSA Yeah, that's fine. I tried poking around their API to get a more exact score, but it also returns a rounded rate. I'm pretty sure about the sorting because their respective pages shows Dr. Stone P2 being "#84 highest rated all time" and Dandadan S2 being #101 highest rated all time
