@Ernie I'm not sure how this should resolve. It seems like Time doesn't crown a single "Invention of the Year" anymore, they put out a list of hundreds of best inventions. In 2023 the Apple Vision Pro was indeed on that list:

The title seems to imply a singular winner as there used to be, so I'm not sure that counts. Also you can look at the covers to get some idea of their editorial opinion of "most important":



So The Sphere in 2023, the Digit humanoid robot and Firefly petunias in 2024, and the Figure 03 humanoid robot in 2025.
I was going to make a profit on NO, but then I realized it's too ambiguous. Oh well.
@xjp Thanks. I went with NA. It seems hard to NO because it seems like it couldn't have done better than it did. But it's hard to YES because its clearly listed as no better than any of hundreds of other items, so it's not invention of the year
