I got GPT to generate the following, which is my model for what Trump is thinking:

"Thank you, thank you very much. It’s great to be back — and by the way, doesn’t it feel good to win again? America is respected again, feared again, and in charge again.

Now let’s talk about Iran. Under Biden, they were sprinting toward a nuclear weapon — everybody knows it. It was a disaster. But now, under my administration — they know the game is over. We’re not playing around.

That said — and this is very important — we are not going to waste American lives and dollars on wars we don’t need. We’ve done enough. For decades, we’ve been the policeman of the world, and what did we get? Bad deals, endless wars, and countries that don’t respect us.

Now, Israel — very strong, very capable, very tough — they live in that neighborhood. They understand the threat. And if Iran keeps pushing, they will handle it. Make no mistake, we will stand by Israel 100%, we will give them what they need, but we’re not sending American troops or pilots unless we absolutely have to — and we don’t.

We’re going to be smart. We’re going to protect our allies. But we’re not going to be the ones doing everybody else’s job for them anymore. The world knows America is back — and we’re leading, but we’re leading smart. No more stupid wars, no more endless spending, and no more weakness.

Thank you, God bless you, and God bless the United States of America."

Many people fail to appreciate the need for war. Maybe Donald Trump is not one of them after all.

opened a Ṁ250 NO at 76% order

@skibidist NO at 76% today only

bought Ṁ1,050 YES

@Shai Filled, mostly just to support the good cause

@skibidist I thought you were for peace?

@NicoMach Nothing opens the door to peace as wide as a massive bombing.

@skibidist arming the opposition might be a cheaper move that also plays out better after the fall of the regime that's hated by its own people.

But sadly true. If it looks like Iran is going to complete a nuclear bomb the someone should and will probably intervene.

A revolution alone wouldn't solve the problem either because you can't be sure who will be in power afterwards. If a civil war broke out, Israel should probably use that opportunity to do as they did in Syria and destroy the whole Iranian nuclear program.

@Sodann 2003 déjà vu all over again. No one has learned anything.

@NicoMach I think they will keep the part that worked (bombing) and skip the part that didn't (nation-building).

@skibidist good luck with that!

@NicoMach What should they have learned that they didn't?
