Resolution criteria
This market resolves YES if any player performs the Griddy dance during the 2026 Super Bowl LX game (February 8, 2026, at Levi's Stadium). The Griddy is a dance move in which a person alternatingly taps their heels while swinging their arms back and forth. Resolution will be determined by reviewing official broadcast footage from NBC's coverage of the game. The dance must occur during the game itself (including halftime if a player is on the field), not during pre-game or post-game coverage.
Background
The Griddy was created by high school footballer Allen Davis in 2018 and became popular among NFL players after Chase and Jefferson brought the dance to the NFL. The celebration has become increasingly common in the league, with numerous players performing it after scoring touchdowns. Given the prevalence of the Griddy in modern NFL celebrations and the high-scoring nature of Super Bowls, there is a reasonable probability that at least one player will perform it during the championship game.
