Only standalone games count. If it turns out a game already was announced when the answer was added here the game will resolve NA
Update 2025-12-08 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): Spinoffs do not count - only main-line games in each franchise will count toward resolution. (Note: Persona is considered a main-line series despite technically being an SMT spinoff, which is why specific spinoff series are called out separately.)
Update 2025-12-09 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): The market was not supposed to close before the end of 2026. The close date will be extended accordingly.

Arguably this counts for F-Zero, but I'm not saying it should resolve YES. Cancelled virtual boy game being released, sources differ over whether it's part of the F-Zero series or not.
@asmith no. Only main-line. Technically Persona is a SMT spinoff. But that's why I call out the more specific spinoff series.
So a new Zelda musou game wouldn't count for "Zelda" but would count for a hypothetical "Hyrule Warriors" entry
