Slippi is a custom version of the Dolphin emulator with additional features for playing Super Smash Bros. Melee. It features rollback netcode for seamless and lagless online play, integrated matchmaking to find people to play with, replay functionality, and much more.
If Nintendo takes legal action against Slippi and its creators before the end of 2024, this market will resolve to YES. Some actions that would qualify include filing a lawsuit, sending a cease and desist, and issuing a DMCA takedown.
If 2024 passes and there is no news from Fizzi or anyone else about any new legal action from Nintendo, this market will resolve to NO.
