As per the rules, this market will resolve “to ‘Yes’ if ByteDance announces their intention to sell TikTok.” - Statements by subsidiaries of ByteDance will also qualify. - Declarations, legislation, or executive actions made by the US or Chinese governments will not alone qualify, without a relevant announcement by ByteDance. - The acquisition by entities other than ByteDance of a majority stake of an entity that operates TikTok in the US (e.g., Oracle announcing majority ownership of a US entity that operates TikTok in the US), will qualify. - The licensing of TikTok’s technology (e.g., algorithm) to a US entity that will operate TikTok in the United States will qualify.
