Bank Indonesia recently announced plans to issue government bond–backed digital securities using its CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency) infrastructure — calling it the nation’s version of a stablecoin.
This market resolves to Yes if, before December 31 2025, Bank Indonesia officially launches or publicly issues a rupiah-backed digital token or stablecoin that is:
backed by government bonds or reserves, and
confirmed via an official announcement by Bank Indonesia, the Indonesian Ministry of Finance, or credible financial outlets (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, CoinMarketCap, CoinDesk).
If no such stablecoin is launched or confirmed by that date, this market resolves to No.
